Etched Toothbrush & Toothpaste Holders
I recently made my two oldest boys some personalized toothbrush and toothpaste holders for their bathroom. I have found that whenever I personalize something for them, they seem to get more of a sense of ownership over it and tend to do a lot better about putting things back in their proper places. So, when I was completely frustrated with toothbrushes and toothpaste being constantly strewn all over the bathroom, I decided a little personalization might be in order.
I picked up some of these square class containers at the dollar store and etched them with their initials. Glass etching is really easy, but if you have never tried it, this is a good tutorial to get you started.
I was initially worried about glass containers in a kids bathroom, but so far, so good.
I love how it is simple and subtle, but still easy for the boys to tell where to return their toothpaste and toothbrush when they are finished.
